15849_1276446223553_1001907375_30844508_2075777_nCharlotte, North Carolina natives Novaman and Joe Barrino have teamed up and created the anticipated summer anthem "She Want Me".  The Rap/R&B track was produced by Novaman, an artist and CEO of Villain Entertainent.  He also can also add lyricist to the credits, as he is the rapper on the song.  Joe Barrino, brother of Fantasia Barrino, appeared as vocalist on "She Want Me".

The track will be released on iTunes and Amazon soon, but can requested on local radio stations now.

King Twins

PhotoKing Twins are a Charlotte duo that is ready to make a name for themselves in the southern rap game. Dice King and Duce King are very versatile in their rhymes. The track “Fam Love” samples Dionne Farris’ “Hopeless” melody. The music and their rhymes go together well. I can definitely seeing this song becoming an underground classic. Another track that I liked was “Like The Switch”. It sounds like Midwest rapper Huey spitting over a Dirty South beat, and once again, it works.

With two mixtapes (“Cookin’ Up Carols” and “Love Jones”) under their belts, they are gearing up to release “March Madness: Loaded 2 The Brim” soon. Please be on the lookout for these guys. They do not disappoint.

Both mixtapes are available on http://www.datpiff.com/.  Follow them on Twitter: www.twitter.com/kingtwins

Ida Divine

Ida Divine could easily be claimed as one of the players to bring Neo Soul back.  Her infectious and insightful tune "Grow Up" has all the makings of a classic.  There's a lesson, a beat to bob your head to and a beautiful voice to learn from.
She got her stage name from one of the First Ladies of the Las Vegas mafia, who was seen as a symbol of power, strength and courage.  Staten Island, NY born and bred, the Hip Hop culture was a huge influence for her music.
Growing up, Ida was very shy.  However, all that changed when she went on a cruise and sang karaoke.  She received such a warm response that she was no longer shy and she decided to pursue her music career full force.

Young Millz

This guy gets so much respect from me because he is truly about his business. This 21 year old resident of Charlotte, North Carolina has given the word "grind" a new meaning. He has several goals, one being to put his new genre of "Struggle Music" on the map.

He has performed with Johntae "Mr. Red Monkey Jeans", opened shows for Tity Boi of Playa's Circle and Diamond, formerly of Crime Mob. He has also released four different mixtapes since 2006, has performed all along the East Coast and has two slated for release this year called "MillzBurry Mixtape Host'd By D Boy Radio" and "The RAW Report Mixtape" as well as his first official underground album called "Struggle Musik 101".

He runs his own company, Young Dreams, LLC, with a goal to create an independent label as he already has six artists he's working with.
